Turkish law divides property into two classes – moveable property (ta_ inab1l1r) and immovable property (gayrimenkl)

Immovable property includes land and buildings but not shares in a company that owns land and buildings.  The sale of immovable property located in Turkey must always be governed by Turkish Law.
